Nelson Family of Companies Appoints New CFO and VP Business Development
Steve Furtado joins as the Chief Financial Officer and EVP of Shared Services and will participate in the strategic planning for the entire organization. Previously, Furtado worked at Apple Computer, Birkenstocks and Lemo. “Steve has vast experience in finance and accounting, IT and Human Resources and we are very pleased to have his significant leadership abilities onboard. As we expand internationally it was important to acquire the services of a person with the experience Steve Furtado brings to the Nelson Family of Companies,” said Gary Nelson, Chairman and CEO, Nelson Family of Companies.
Lydia Wilson joins as Vice President of Business Development and Implementation for WorkforceLogic. As a seasoned staffing industry executive, she will be responsible for business development both domestically and globally. Most recently she worked at Remedy Staffing but developed her career at Adecco where she was responsible for expanding and developing business for major accounts. “Lydia brings extensive industry management experience to our company as we continue to expand our services,” concluded Gary Nelson.
Both of these new appointments will assist in the strategic plan to position the Nelson Family of Companies for continued growth its mission of offering world class products and services in workforce management. Nelson Family of Companies recently announced record revenues for 2006 of $377 million.
