Professor Shaw will address the topic, what is talent and how can we leverage talent for maximum returns?
She will begin by considering alternative definitions of star talent. Given these definitions, our goal is to think
experimentally about determining the best practices for increasing the returns to talent. She will present several data-based empirical cases that use Insider Econometrics to test hypotheses for talent management. She will conclude with take-aways on mechanisms for leveraging human capital through data-based practices and organizational alignment.
