Sally Buchanan – Sony Entertainment America
Senior Director, Human Resources

Ms. Buchanan is the Senior Director of Human Resources for Sony Computer Entertainment America. She joined Sony in 1994 and is responsible for providing direction for the company's human resources initiatives for the United States and Canada. As such, Ms. Buchanan leads organizational change, leadership development, talent acquisition, design, development and implementation of compensation and benefits, performance management and human resources systems, as well as the execution of the company's human resources processes.

Before joining Sony Computer Entertainment America, Ms. Buchanan was responsible for the acquisition of talent for Media Vision, Inc. Prior to joining Media Vision, she was the Branch Manager at Interim Personnel. In this role, she managed the sales, marketing, and client relationships for 125 companies such as Apple, Tandem, and Hewlett Packard.

Stephanie Ellis – WorkforceLogic
Vice President, Compliance Services

With over 20 years of professional and managerial experience, Ms. Ellis leverages her expertise to transform key strategic objectives into workable plans and solutions on behalf of the organizations she has represented.

Ms. Ellis has more than 8 years of compliance experience in
IC risk management. Ms. Ellis joined ABE Services, now WorkforceLogic, more than 8 years ago. During that time,
she has worked in numerous positions within the organization providing an invaluable level of expertise in all facets of the company.

While at WorkforceLogic, Ms. Ellis has designed, tested, implemented, and supported risk management and compliance programs at several Silicon Valley software giants, and other major organizations throughout the US. She is one of the leading subject matter experts in this industry. Her experience and subject matter expertise have made her one of the most highly sought risk management consultants and keynote speakers at employment law seminars on a national level. Most recently
Ms. Ellis was identified to move beyond the domestic borders with IC compliance and add the UK and EU to her scope of expertise. Ms. Ellis will be part of the WFL international launch assisting current premier clients who have an international presence develop a full risk mitigation program.

Ms. Ellis has a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Wayland Baptist University.

Stuart Read – IMD
Professor of Marketing

Stuart Read is a professor of marketing at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. IMD offers the top MBA program worldwide, and is also the leading provider of executive education in Europe (Financial Times, 2007).

Professor Read has nearly 20 years of industry experience, having participated in the creation of six high technology start-up firms. Four of those firms were acquired by industry leaders including Sun Microsystems and Lotus Development Corporation. Two are publicly traded. Professor Read also spent 6 years with enterprise database software provider, Oracle Corporation.
His research interests revolve around decision-making under uncertainty, and he has published numerous academic and practical articles on the topic.

Professor Read’s academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harvard University.

Theresa Uchida – Brocade Communications Systems, Inc.
Director, Global Talent Management

Ms. Uchida has over 18 years professional management experience spanning executive, professional and college recruitment, HR operations and infrastructure programs, HR technology, contingent workforce management, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Uchida joined Brocade in 2001, and has the global responsibility for workforce talent acquisition through on-boarding, overall HR program management, process re-engineering, automation and compliance. Prior to Brocade, Ms. Uchida held senior recruitment leadership roles at Cisco Systems, Adaptec, and Romac International.

Ms. Uchida holds a Masters of Art from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Music from Santa Clara University.
